One day i went to papaya and i wanted to return an item back but the manger began to yell at me with anger. As if i stole from the store. She was very rude, disrespectful, loud to the point people outside the store heard her. So as i begin to ask her while she was yelling can i return the item. she screamed NO!! she said that there was no exchanges on my item. but when i purchased the item the cashier did not explain to me that i couldn't exchange the item back to something else. So me and the manger began to go back and fourth at it until something got done, because i wasn't leaving the store until i can either get my money back or exchange my item like i plan to. So the manger still continue to yell at me in front of the customers. So an hour went pass and she decided that i can exchange it. Long story short their service was unacceptable and rude and very disrespectful. i will never shop at papaya at jersey Garden Mall In Elizabeth, New jersey ever again. And I recommend no one shops at papaya if they don't want to experience what i went through.
Great store nice clothing. .the girls at the floor are very nice costumer service .my girlfriend was going crazy like little girl in Christmas. .
i was a previous employee of papaya located in the new jersey garden mall .and must say that the owner is a racist and a demeaning person .if you are planing to work their make sure you dont stay insulted since thats the one thing he loves to do downgrade people .good luck !!
Now why just 3 stars ..i should put 2 is because the cleaning of the store is awful. .dust everywhere if you look at the ceilings in special the AC vents i can imagine the filters ..even she saw i dress in the wall looking used the whole neck area was with makeup or suet also it don't smells very good inside . .i use to work for retail and this place WON'T PASS THE WHITE GLOVE INSPECTION. ..I DON'T KNOW BUT THE MALL SHOULD HAVE SOMEONE INSPECT FOR THIS MATTER. .WE HAVE TO BREATHE THAT ..
