I just want to take the time to share my experience with motel 6 Elizabeth location,my company put me up with the most safe,accessible to work,humble staff,rooms clean on demand.i give 5 stars because.
When I checked out in the morning I asked if it was possible to get a reduction based on the condition of my room. The gentleman at the desk repeatedly told me they had plenty of other rooms that were "better" that I could have been put in. I explained that I had arrived very late at night and did not want to move to another room. He told me that the manager of the hotel would call me later that day to discuss my request, and I have yet to receive a phone call. This establishment should not be allowed to keep the Motel 6 name.
Rooms are horrible. Heat is not hot in some rooms. I can't believe motel 6 would hang there name on this dump!!!!! I called to complain of no heat they told me it's very cold outside. Second call ill send somone to look at it after 2 hours they finally changed my room. Jacuzzi tub was horrible. I would not get in it!!! So it was a waste to pay for Jacuzzi room. It was around 1 am by the time we got settled. I would not recommend going there at all!!!!
My company have use this location mutual time in the past because is one of the best to provide quick access to work or the airport since it never takes more than 10 minutes between when I ask and I'm on my way.

This property is a dump. Aside from the helpfulness of the individual at the reception desk, all other aspects of this property are poor. Access from the adjacent highway is difficult. General appearance: Poor. The bathroom / toilet in my room was so small, I found it difficult to enter the shower. One room near mine was boarded-up (recent fire?). Value for money spent: Poor. Next time I must spend a night near Newark, I will chose a hotel at least 20 miles distant from Elizabeth / Newark, then simply endure the traffic the following morning.

They have bedbugs!! Seen two of them crawling on the bed. The room was dirty. Burn marks on the wall and ceiling by the vents. Dirty bathroom walls, no washcloths, and had limited channels on the TV. Everything was blurry. This place isn't how it used to be before Motel 6 took over. Will never stay here again. It used to be my favorite spot when it was called Econo Lodge.
Booked with Motel 6 in Newark because I was incredibly impressed with a Motel 6 I stayed at in Connecticut a few years ago. This Motel 6 began to make an impression as soon as I pulled into the parking lot, but for a very, very negative reason. There was no parking in the front of the hotel, nearly every inch was double parked with cars that I assumed were spilling over from the airport parking lot adjacent to the property. I found what I believe was the only open parking spot, and went to check in at the office. I was impressed that there were three gentlemen behind the desk that were able to check me in quickly and give me directions to my room. This hotel had all exterior corridors, with covered, but not enclosed stairwells. The first thing I noticed once inside my room was a wall light that was literally hanging out of the wall with no bulb in it. This really should have been the moment that I called the front desk and asked for another room, but as it was already 12:30 in the morning and I had a 8:00am meeting, I didn't want to move. Initially, half of the bathroom lights wouldn't turn on. Three of the four overhead light fixtures in the room were missing lightbulbs. The temperature was around freezing that night, and I looked for an additional blanket in the room and found none, so I used my coat as a second blanket. All of the dresser drawers were broken, as was one of the armrests on the desk chair awkwardly positioned in the corner of the room. The majority of the electrical outlets around the room had no face plates on them, just a hole in the wall.
