Everytime I stop in, I'm greeted with friendly service. Whenever I'm looking for something different or new to try, they are helpful and informative with options. Great place I don't need to go anywhere else because of their great variety in wines, liquors and beer. They are even friendly and patient when I play a ton of lotto/scatch-offs.
Moved from NY to Elizabeth recently. Came across this cozy little liquor store. The young guy behind the counter was really cool. He was up to date on all the new drinking & alcoholic trends. Diverse selection,fresh cigars and all my NJ lottery needs. Great service!

Dropped down to Butler's Liquor Store yesterday evening expecting to come home with a judicious range of wines. It wasn't by choice - the partner is pregnant and she's been drinking to cope with the morning sickness. Seems to be getting worse though. Anyhow, as soon as I entered the store I was impressed by the owner's stench of body odour - oops, cheeses - that he had on display. Unfortunately I only had change on me so i didn't get to venture off into the sunset with my dream cheese. The wine was lovely according to the missus - like nothing she's ever gulped down before. I would have given this four stars due to the smell but the owner seemed really socially awkward and I didn't want to ruin his day.
